A small park within walking distance. Nice and cozy & well-maintained. A good place for a breath of fresh air.

A very close walk from the Ericson House, this is a lovely park with a statue of Whittier's namesake, John Greenleaf Whittier. The park is surrounded by some of the oldest Whittier homes and churches, with a gazebo in the southeast corner. It has a playground and large lawn ideal for sitting and enjoying the music of summertime Monday Evening Concerts in the Park. Whittier is the best!
