I'm adding places that are out doors, due to Covid-19. This refuge is nice this time of year because we have a lot of Migrating Birds that make New Mexico their winter home. Check out also the visitor center on your Navigation!

4 kinds of biomes intersect on the refuge: the Colorado Plateau Shrub Steppe, Great Plains Short Grass Prairie, the Chihuahuan Desert, and the Pinyon-Juniper Woodland. Open Mon-Fri daylight hours.
