Peel Park was the first public park in the United Kingdom funded entirely by the people’s subscription, to officially open. Created in 1846, it was free to use and brought all Salford residents together.

Our local park. Just a 5 minute walk away. Perfect for a stroll on a nice day when the weather is good. This park recently underwent £2m makeover. Attached to Salford University and Salford Art Gallery. Great for kids and adults too.

Manchester isn't really known for its green space, but Peel park is a hidden gem that not many people know about. Definitely worth a visit, perfect spot for a picnic.
