Manchester has an abundance of nightlife and within this guide we pull out a few of the areas that you can visit in the day and then carry on into the night! From Manchester’s famous LGBTQ village to the trendy Northern quarter area, you must squeeze it all in!

Visit Oscars Bar for a little sing song to Broadway show tunes
Check out other bars too Via Manchester, New York, New York or The REM Bar but that whole strip is good fun

Here you have the choice of a few places to eat including Almost Famous Burger which is a treat, there is also an odeon Cinema and a place called whistle punks which is a fun Axe Throwing activity, there is a Lanes Bowling ally too, Opposite great northern facing the bar Impossible there is a retro arcade called NQ64 so check this out for some fun and games

The NQ is a trendy urban area that you definitely need to check out whilst you are here.
Aim for the Northern quarter in Google but visit Stevenson Square too and look out for all the wall start!

This is a lovely little canals walk and is next door to the Ancoats areas where there are some great places to eat, check out Rudy’s pizza and The counter house for places to eat and drink and walk along the canal and check out the local coffee shops on the marina

Castlefield and deansgate locks has some great bars and a stretch of canal to walk along which will take you through to Oxford road which is a great road leading to Hatch and the Student area of Manchester, look out for Joshua Brooks bar here and visit Hatch which is a cool trendy place for food and shopping like box village in London

5 Century StreetCastlefield and deansgate locks has some great bars and a stretch of canal to walk along which will take you through to Oxford road which is a great road leading to Hatch and the Student area of Manchester, look out for Joshua Brooks bar here and visit Hatch which is a cool trendy place for food and shopping like box village in London
This is where you will find the theatre nightlife of HOME where you might be able to catch some shows and some outdoor attractions
A few bars here and an Indian tiffin rooms restaurant as well as a junkyard golf venue which is fun
This is also next door to deansgate locks and near castlefield so you can do both events areas in one hit

The home of ITV and the old quays of Salford this is a team stop away just aim for media City Uk or the Eccles team stop and you can take in the sights and the blue Peter garden!
As well as lots of places to eat and drink aswell a s it’s own Lowry outlet shopping mall, Lowry theatre and the imperial war museum
You can also access Manchester United grounds from here too
This is a cool area where you have several iconic places to view, the road itself has great architecture and is a lead into Manchester’s student area

If you like to shop then you must visit the Trafford centre, you can pick up a tram direct or get the number 50 bus - spend a good half day to a full day here as you can also visit the Aquarium and lose your self shopping across the mile long stretch of shops!
