This waterfall is more of a scenic stop. There is a parking lot where you go up a ramp to view the waterfall. Walking distance is about the length of a parking lot. If you are short in time, this is a good place to visit in Hilo. Also there is no parking fee. There are informational plaques that talk about the history of the waterfall. Definitely worth a few minutes to stop by and see if you are near Hilo.

A favorite tourist spot with an epic rainbow. If you are lucky after a rainfall which is often. Enjoy it! Don't forget your camera.

Rainbow Falls and Boiling Pots just above Hilo- on the same river very close to each other. Drive and walk to the overlooks to see the falls. Please do not even try to swim here- as we have deaths every year from guests trapped in the underwater lava tubes here.

Rainbow Falls is located in Hilo town, approximately 45 minutes North of Volcano. This is ideal for the not so adventurous as the access is a quick one-minute walk from the parking lot.
