Quite a rare sight and spectacular to see. These water jets (geysers) are formed by the big waves hitting the caves & then pushing the water out of the cracks above. Very impressive, including the sound. The main car park is a good 15-20 minute walk from the cliffs. You will pass an amazing little beach area in an incredibly beautiful inlet called Playa de Guadamia. Bring bathing costumes and towels with you so that you can take a dip. The cliffs are beautiful but watch out for young kids as there are some big holes in the ground that are easy to see but are not at all cordoned off. If you do visit when there is no spray, just chill out and appreciate the view and the sounds! Download an app like 'My Tide Times' onto your phone to see the times for high and low tide. You'll want to arrive here for high tide. If you have the option, wait for high tide AND a rougher sea, otherwise you will hear the waves through the holes in the cliff but you won't see the spray.

Los más conocidos en Asturias son los Bufones de Pría, en la localidad de Llames. Allí se debe dejar el coche y seguir caminando por los impresionantes acantilados que veremos en frente. En los días que la mar está agitada el espectáculo es sorprendente, es un lugar fantástico, las vistas desde sus acantilados merecen el viaje y si la marea es alta el espectáculo es inimaginable. Hay una ruta de los bufones, con inicio y fin en Llames, de dificultad baja y una duración de unas cuatro horas aproximadamente que merece la pena hacer para disfrutar de su belleza.

A 15 km del apartamento se encuentra la agrupación de BUFONES de PRÍA, que ofrece espectáculos naturales impresionantes cuando la mar está embravecida expulsando a presión, por chimeneas y grietas, agua de mar pulverizada que puede superar los 20 m, Son poco corrientes y únicos en la Península Ibérica debido a las especiales características geológicas en las que se originan y forman parte del PAISAJE PROTEGIDO DE LA COSTA ORIENTAL DE ASTURIAS.
