This cafe restaurant emerged after Katrinna. It is reminscient of an old America in which neighbors met and talked about issues of the day and possesses an atmosphere of local culture. Prices and hours are accommodating to both locals and visitors. Strong chicory coffee, good pastries and satisfying breakfast. It also houses artworks available for purchase. It is one of Gretna's jewels. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Great spot for breakfast in historic downtown Gretna. Server breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus has a bar for great Bloody Marys. Across the street from the Saturday Farmers Market (9-12 every Saturday) Then walk up to the Mississippi River levee for a great view of downtown.
