An open air museum where you can experience old house, and the way that people used to live back in old times.

In Lyngby we have a place called "Frilandsmuseet". The museum started in 1897 and had a few old buildings from the Danish history. Today it has a lot more. A great place to walk around both for families and couples. You can even go by horsecarriges.

Open Air Museum: The Open Air Museum, Frilandsmuseet, is one of the oldest and biggest open air museums in the world. The Open Air Museum north of Copenhagen is one of the largest and oldest in the world. Spread across 86 acres of land, the museum houses more than 50 farms, mills and houses from the period 1650-1940.

You need to take a train to get here and maybe a bus (unless you have a car), but this place is amazing and huge! It's one of the worlds biggets and oldest outdoor museums with more than 100 buildings/houses from all over the country. If you want to know how people lived back in the days, this is where to go see it. Pack some lunch and sit on the grass or on a bench and take it all in. It's like being back in the good old days.
