Fabulous Revolutionary War Historic Fort. Great to explore, walk the hidden British built fort, ruins mostly in tact surrounded by a moat in the shape of a Pentagon. 1 mile clise just over Champlain Bridge to Crown Point New York.

Fort built by British to control bottleneck on strategic Lake Champlain. Officers quarters still partially intact with fireplaces. Museum, grounds include rock quarries, secondary fortifications, moat and original French Fort Frederic located directly on water. About 9 miles away.

Walk the self-guided historic trail and explore the ruins of two forts. Don't miss the multi-media presentation about the important role this part of Lake Champlain played in the shaping of early America.
