Amboise has many sites to see such as the Royal Chateau or the Clos Luce which was the last residence of Leonardo da Vinci but still it is the weekly open air farmer's market situated on the Loire river that really stands out for us because along with Loches and Blois it is the best in the region. Just 15 kilometers from our location.

Excellent and enormous Sunday morning market in Amboise. You can buy food, live chickens, vegetables, spices etc etc.

Great markets for all types of food and wine. Open Friday mornings and Sundays. The Sunday markets are bigger and have a lot of clothing etc to purchase.
