The Manhattan Project was created as a SECRET PROJECT during WW II which led to the creation of the ATOMIC BOMB. The Oak Ridge Reservation in rural Tennessee was an industrial complex and city home to over 75,000 persons. There is a museum, a tour, and much to see in the Oak Ridge area. This is an all day adventure and the museum is a MUST visit!
