Great pub and you can swim in the river opposite. Also Skenfrith castle is just down the road.

Closed down atm but reopening soon due to awful flooding. High end food and spectacular views of river. Finish your walk and wild swim and have a pint of Butty Bach ;)

This restaurant has won many awards for it's food, including 2 AA rosettes and the best place to eat (pub) in the Wales National Tourism Awards. The menu changes every 6-8 weeks and offers locally sourced seasonal food, much from the garden when in season
