The best scuba diving in Puerto Rico is done by a company called Sea Ventures, which operates daily from Marina Del Rey in Fajardo. The trips usually sell out so if you’re interested in doing this, call them to book on your first day in Puerto Rico. Scuba diving is highly weather dependent so check the forecast before booking. There is usually a morning trip and an afternoon trip each day. The weather is usually better for the morning trip, but that’s a very early wakeup at about 5am since you have to be in Fajardo by about 7:30am for the morning dive.

This is the only dive outfit we use. They are connected to NOAA and provide the best diving around. They do have large boats and large groups but have dedicated dive masters for your diving skill level. They also do snorkel trips.
