The Woodman is a lovely country inn serving great food. Their beer garden is particularly nice on a sunny day.

This is more for a special meal out. Not the cheapest. Popular so you need to book. There is a lovely pre meal walk from here. Detailed in parks and nature sections.

Great dog friendly place to eat and drink. Its a nice walk from here through the woods and ideal on a winters day - warm and cosy with a great atmosphere and nice food. Walking directions can be provided - takes 30 approximately minutes!

Great country pub serving good food too! It’s quite a walk from the cottage but a lovely walk and means you’ve built up an appetite! From the cottage walk into New Mill, up Sude Hill to the church, take the left fork, then follow the road all the way through Fulstone and Stocksmoor. Past Stocksmoor train station and then turn right at the t junction. Walk down the hill and over the bridge and you will see The Woodman on the right.
