If you haven't tried Banh Xeo, or Vietnamese Sizzling Pancake, you are missing out! It's not sweet like pancakes rather savory and dipped with fish sauce. The pancake is cooked on a skillet and a batter made with rice flour, water, turmeric powder, stuffed with slivers of fatty pork, shrimp, diced green onion, and bean sprouts. Once cooked it is eaten by wrapping with lettuce and other vegetables then dipped into fish sauce. A very popular Vietnamese dish and this place makes the best in Little Saigon. I have to say it's comparable to my mom home cooking.
