Incredibly beautiful, to say the least! Breathtaking!

Cedar Breaks National Monument is the most overlooked jewel on top of our mountain. Just a couple miles beyond Brian Head Ski resort will put you on the rim of some of the most beautiful vistas North America has to offer. Just over the hill from that is our little Duck Creek Village.

Our favorite place to get out of the heat and enjoy nature. Ranger activities, night sky activities, hikes. The view is not unlike the Grand Canyon on a smaller scale but just beautiful. Bathrooms. Gift shop.

“Continue up Cedar Mountain for a nice evening drive and enjoy Milts Stage Stop! This steak house sits in the mountain surroundings where its not uncommon to see the friendly deer come close to the back setting of the restaurant. Many options for dinner! Start off with a salad bar & appetizers. Choices of Steak, Ham dinner, Jumbo Shrimp, and Lobster are on your menu. Desserts are a must!”

“Our peak has the best view around at 11,307 ft. From the top, one can see into neighboring states such as Arizona and Nevada. The stone hut on the very tip of the peak was built between 1935-1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps; ever since its construction, it has become an icon on the peak. It not only provides a taste of Brian Head's past, but also a breathtaking view. (Literally, breath taking since it is so high in elevation). Just before reaching the peak, you'll see the Sydney Peak Trailhead, which is the jumping off point for several of the hiking and mountain biking trails in Dixie National Forest, including Dark Hollow, Bunker Creek, Sydney Peaks, Spruces, and Mace's Run. Restrooms are located at the trailhead. *Note: The road to the summit is accessible in the summer and fall seasons only. ”

“I've been hiking Kanarraville Falls since I was a little girl. Gorgeous day hike, through a stream. Rock water slides for kids. Plan ahead, get a permit. Wear good shoes that can get wet. Take snacks and a towel. ”
