You can drive to Asserbo Castle in about 20 minutes. Asserbo castle was founded in the 12th century by Bishop Absalon. The castle was deserted in the 16th century and has, since then, mostly withered away. There are only a few remains of the castle to be seen today. However, there are plans to restore the castle. After you see the castle, you can go for a walk in the nearby Tisvilde Hegn.
