In the high season there is a free ferry service that takes you to the other side of the river Schelde. The boat right gives some amazing views of the skyline of Antwerp. It is a fun trip to take ther ferry out to Linkeroever and walk back to Antwerp via the pedestrian tunnel.

At the Steenplein you can take a free ferry to the left-bank. Ferries leave at 15' and 45' and return on 00' and 30'. The left-bank area is quiet and green and you have the best view on the city skyline. As an alternative, take a walk back via the pedestrian tunnel - Sint-Anna Tunnel.
