There are two (2) San Diego Zoos. The San Diego Wildlife Zoo is located in Escondido. The original San Diego Zoo is located in Balboa Park on Zoo Lane, San Diego.

This is one of the best zoos in the country. I love this zoo! The Pandas are a "must see"! Just over 13 miles South or just over 20 minutes to drive in good traffic.
