The MSA Annex is an expansion of the Mercado San Agustín, bringing 13 new locally owned small businesses, many women and minority-owned, for a total of 26 along the Mercado District’s Avenida Del Convento. The shops and eateries at the MSA Annex are housed beautifully inside modified shipping containers. The containers, designed by Tucson Architect Paul Weiner, are architecturally compelling and modern in Nature. The juxtaposition of the Spanish Colonial style Mercado San Agustin and new modern Annex together create a dynamic experience as seen in great cities around the world.
