Rowdy Bear Mountain Billed as Gatlinburg’s number one mountain coaster, Rowdy Bear Mountain can lay claim to having the first ever mountain glider in the world. This single-rail coaster is part free-fall, part hang-glider, and is all fun. And for those of you that are skeptical, don’t be! It’s perfectly safe. Their other ride is the Gravity Coaster, which takes you on a winding journey through the woods at speeds of 35 mph. Better yet, you get to control the speed, while the Intelligent Distance Control System ensures that you and the other guests have a safe, enjoyable time. One of our favorite activities, the coaster will take you soaring through the treeline with great twists and turns. With handbrakes to control your speed, you have the option to take it slow, or zip along at 35 MPH. Great fun for the whole family!
