One of the Magnificent Seven, Whitehall, originally called Rosenweg, was one of the largest homes on Maraval Road. It was built by Joseph Leon agostini in 1904.
One of the Magnificent Seven around the Queen’s Park Savannah, this Venetian style “palazzi” office of the Prime Minister was formally known as “Rosenweck”. Built of coral from Barbados in 1903, the name Whitehall was given in 1907 when it changed hands. The interior was used for a scene of a state dinner in “The Mystic Masseur” Merchant Ivory feature film. White Hall was also featured in the Savant TV 2014 locally produced short documentary series “Within these Walls” when it was in disrepair but has since been restored and returned to use - 30 minute drive (16 km) from Green Space.
