Excellent Austrian restaurant. Pricey, but very good food. Extensive wine list. One of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood when I'm looking for something more elegant and refined.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. The cuisine is modern Austrian and there's an enormous Julian Schnabel portrait of the owner and chef Kurt Gutenbrunner on the walls (the artist lives just around the corner). Don't leave without having the Salzburger Nockerl -- I imagine this is what heaven tastes like.
