Part of the famous canal system that runs through the region. There is a canal with nice views, fishing area with bait sold nearby, and an old-style active swing bridge.

All canal locks are National Historic site of Canada with beautifulpark setting lock 41 Gambridge is the gateway to the beautiful Historic Talbot River section or the Trent Severn Waterway. It's the first of 5 manual locks in a 8km stretch that rise to overcome a lift of 22.2 meters (72.7 feet) why not visit the locks and watch how the lifts work.
