Best reservoir in the peaks for a walk, good paths and beautiful views. Walk from midhope cliff lane down the north side (30-45 mins?)to the skinny bit at the end - great area for paddling and picnics .

Langsett Reservoir offers breath taking views for walkers and cyclists of all abilities. There is an accessible route, along with more challenging treks through the majestic woodlands. It is dog friendly and has some lovely pubs and cafes at the end.

5.3 miles A Walk around Langsett Reservoir Lovely Walk of about 5.3 miles. Time: 2.5 hours for the shorter walk. A walk which combines woodland with views across open moorland.
