Vegetarians beware, and vegans don't even go there ... this place is really for carnivores only. Makes sense: 'macelleria' translated is 'butcher'. Slightly unusual set-up for a restaurant - you go past a selection of uncooked meats and different cuts, choose one, choose a style of cooking, choose an accompaniment (salad, chips) and it's brought to you cooked perfectly, tender, and delicious. Drawbacks: depending on how busy it is, can be less than amazing service. Highlights: get a table next to one of the windows opening onto Enmore Road - a bit al fresco, awesome for people-watching. Mid-priced.
