This is one of the best places to swim. Also just a short drive away. Many bring a picnic or barbeque and spend the day. There are also numerous hiking trails and a very nice disc golf course!

If you’re looking forward to lake swimming, plan on visiting Highland Park Reservoir. It’s an additional drive, but is much more swimming-friendly than Clear Lake and has picnic tables, bbq stations, multiple swimming areas, and restrooms. You can also kayak etc.
