This amazing "jewel box" of an art collection/gallery/museum is worth the trip off the beaten path. Originally gifted by artist Georgia O'Keefe's famous photographer husband Alfred Steiglitz, this small but rich collection features works by many of the great artists and photographers. A must-see. Call to be sure they are open.

Housed in a late 19th century Victorian building, The Carl Van Vechten Gallery was established in 1949, when the acclaimed American painter Georgia O'Keeffe donated to Fisk the extraordinary group of works that form The Alfred Stieglitz Collection
