There are 2 visitor centers, one on the East side of town and the other on the West side. They are very different and I recommend visiting both for different vistas, and different mountain ranges plus the ride out to each area will take you thru different neighborhoods and areas of the city.

Don't miss this Park on Tucson's West side. Old Tucson Studios & AZ Sonoran Desert Museum (World Renowned) nearby, Cafe inside at Desert Museum.

See the Saguaro, the state's flower, in full bloom in the spring. Walk the hiking paths throughout the park.

The Saguaro cactus are so special - visitor center has a wonderful 15 minute video from the native american perspective, beautiful trails, interesting ranger talks, and much more
