You can walk to the beach or drive. I recommend driving. Turn right onto Platypus. Right onto Eggleston St Right on Madeley St. Left onto Presidents Av. Then follow that all the way to the surf beach. I recommend parking in the 4th entrance on the left. This carpark has the best views and easiestaccess to the beach. Please note that in hotter weather parking fills up quickly.

Ocean Grove Main beach is two kilometres of family-friendly surf beach situated at the centre of the stretch of beach that spans from Point Lonsdale to the Barwon River mouth. Locals and holiday-makers flock to this beach thanks to the amenities, surf patrol and impeccable conditions. Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club is situated here. The beach is seasonally patrolled with excellent ocean swimming and surfing. A popular skate spot and contains a walking track. Other facilities include: Public toilets and showers, boat ramp and free and ample parking nearby. Dogs are allowed on the beach but restrictions apply.

Patrolled beach great for swimming, boogie boarding and surfing. Everyday it is different!

Main Beach is huge and has the the SLC and the Dune kiosk/cafe. Great for beach walks to Barwon Heads.
