Two screens. Wine. Beer. Great movies. Great food too. It's tiny, they don't display many films, but everything there is usually good. One screen seats around 25 people. It's great.

This is my favourite, bus to town, walk up the High Street looking in the shop windows, head downstairs under the Public Library, a glass of decent sauvignon blan, and relax in front of an art film.

This basement theatre adjacent to the Auckland Library is dedicated to present their audiences with wide range of classic, alternative, art and controversy films. They offers a $5 special on every Wednesday for a boutique theatre experience.
