If you want some deep house, check out this unmarked small club and bar. Great sound system with rotating DJs. Friendly and hip crowd. Take Uber or Lyft to and from the venue.

Closest neighborhood bar. Definite dive bar; sister bar is Little Miss Whiskey's. Great staff/bartenders. DJ rotates. Awesome beer selection.

A DC hidden gem and truly one-of-a-kind bar. Red lighting, a great beer selection that won't break the bank, a small but booming dance floor with house music, and a vibe that's somewhere between a comic book and a fantasy movie. If you really want to turn up the night, have a glass of their Mr. Lethal and check out the back stairwell. Owned by the same people as Little Miss Whiskey's.
