Originally named the Victoria Hall which opened on 8th February 1901 with a concert by the Halle Orchestra the Victoria Theatre has evolved with the times and developments in entertainment. Today the theatre is used for a wide range of events and prides itself on an exciting and varied programme. There is entertainment for everyone to enjoy at the Victoria Theatre - from no-holds-barred rock n roll, chart topping pop, ballet, and opera, comedy, and fantastic family shows.

There is entertainment for everyone to enjoy at The Victoria Theatre - from no-holds-barred rock 'n' roll, chart-topping pop, sumptuous ballet and opera, to cutting-edge comedy, fantastic family shows, musicals and not forgetting the annual pantomime! Located in Halifax town centre.

Victoria Theatre Wards End, Halifax A good night out in Halifax must surely include a visit to the town's popular Victoria Theatre which regularly stages a first rate programme of international entertainment, ranging from dance and drama, through to opera and comedy. Originally christened the Victoria Hall it officially opened for business in February 1901 and cost a mere £38,000 to build. Today, the theatre, located conveniently close to the town centre plays host to some of the countries best known performers, including famous faces from the small screen.
