You can take a floating device and float the river here. It is slow flowing here and not very deep.

ATTN River Floaters : this is your entry point for drifting down the Deschutes on your floatation vessel of choice. Kayak, air mattress, inner tube, flamingo... just wear the sunscreen. Other tips: wear sandals that stay on your feet, bring beverages in reusable bottles (no single use cans or glass), wear a hat, put keys in waterproof pouch and leave all other valuables in the car. Oh, have fun!
