Spanish for “lone beach,” Playasola is a quintessential oceanfront villa located in the exclusive Mismaloya area of the Bay of Banderas. You will be perfectly poised for the ultimate beach holiday at this three acre property. The villa boasts a private sand beach. Sheltered by a magnificent rock cropping as the mountains reach the ocean, your private sandy cove is free of passers-by. The seclusion and resplendence of this villa has also made it a popular spot for weddings and other events.
Playasola offers the seclusion and luxury of an island-like property amid a mix of beach palapas, cantera terraces and a private sports complex with a night lit tennis court, basketball court, beach volleyball and fitness facility. The pristine, curved infinity pool with swim-up bar is nestled in the lush tropical foliage and provides uninterrupted sea views. Or take a well deserved soak in the outdoor Jacuzzi. The alfresco experience is rounded out with a kitchen palapa, wet bar, a lovely dining area and a gas grill. Indoors, you will find a home entertainment system with satellite TV, surround sound, iPod dock and Xbox 360 console. Wi-Fi access, office equipment and purified water are provided for your convenience and peace of mind. Your reservation includes a chef service, wait staff, bartender, housekeeping and security guard.
The capacious living and dining areas inside offer comfortable and stylish furnishings and stellar ocean vistas. The impressive gourmet kitchen comes with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a large center island. High ceilings and brilliant finishes provide an airy and breezy atmosphere throughout this magnificent home.
Eight immaculate bedrooms accommodate up to sixteen fortunate guests at Playasola. Five bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, are located in the main house, and three bedrooms with air conditioning and satellite TVs are situated in a separate ‘casita.’ Family friendly throughout, all the main house suites include air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TVs and waterfront decks.
Guests of Playasola will be picked up at the airport by private drivers and driven to the Boca Pier. They are then greeted by staff members who assist with luggage and guide guests onto a private water taxi for a picturesque eight minute coastal ride directly to the villa. With all of the amenities available on-site, many choose to partake in the most popular activity: relaxing on the beach. As you watch the boats coast by and the waves ebb and flow, you may just wonder how the week slipped by so quickly!

Additional Information
• Guests are picked up at the airport by private drivers in one or two white suburbans and driven to Boca pier. There, they are greeted by staff members who assist with luggage and guide guests onto one or two private water taxis. An 8-minute coastal ride has guests arriving on the sand, directly in front of Playasola. Twenty feet from sand arrival are the cantera steps, leading to the beach palapa, terraces and villa of Playasola.
• Water taxis are available day and night, as it is the primary method of transportation to these tourist-catering towns on the south coast of Puerto Vallarta. The drivers all have cell phones, so a water taxi can be in front of the house within 5 minutes, for an 8 minute ride to the main Boca pier and then a 20 minute drive to downtown Puerto Vallarta.
• There is a nice horseback trip at the town next door, 10 minutes south, called Quimixto. It offers a 20-minute horseback ride up to a waterfall, with a nice restaurant at the base of the waterfall.
• The caretakers, Primativo and Araceli, live onsite in the lower level staff quarters (accessed by a separate side entrance). They are available if any urgent need arises after hours. Otherwise, they are unseen after hours, leaving the house for guests’ private enjoyment.
