Peaceful and elegant, with the iconic black & white columns of Buren and shady benches.
Go through its beautiful quiet garden and join the « Galerie Vivienne », and after go to Montorgueil (rue des petits carreaux) to drink something in this lively pedestrian zone.
Jardin du Palais Royal : take left down the building and walk rue de Turbigo then rue Étienne Marcel on the right, then straight on. You’ll pass by La Place des Victoires where the is a beautiful square with a Louis the XIVth statue. After the square, the access to the garden will be on you left. It’s a majestuous closed by buildings place with foutains, it’s a must. There is a sand box for kids. At the end of the garden if you walk through it, there is a piece of art called « Les Colonnes de Buren », a square with columns of different sizes, very graphic, where the kids love to play. Once there you’re not far from the Louvre. If you leave the garden by this extremity, you arrive to « La Comédie Française » famous theatre where Moliere used to play.
