The Arsenal port leading to the Seine offers a relaxing place to escape from the hustle and bustle by strolling or sitting besides the boats. The "Coulée Verte" starting on Avenue Daumesnil is a unique garden planted along the length of an old railway viaduct (Viaduc des Arts), offering a pleasant stroll as far as the Bois de Vincennes (5km from Bastille).
