Fantastic location with beautiful views of the sea and castle. Small essentials are not provided and would be nice to have shower gel and tea/coffee/milk. Although the apartment itself is well kept there is some mould in the main bathroom. The agents were very easy to deal with.

Would recommend. Lovely flat in a fantastic location. We had problems checking in as the door was locked. However, given 5 stars as the issue was dealt with quickly.

Second time here really enjoyed our stay

The apartment was spacious, very secure & had a lovely outlook with a lovely balcony which was used on arrival to enjoy a drink as the weather was so great. Bridge Inn was just opposite & served good food. Added bonus was the bus stop by the pub which took us directly to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which was on our list of places to visit which meant we didn't have to use the car.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

This was a last-minute stopover after returning from Scotland on my way back to Surrey. Lucy & Stuart’s place was so relaxing and welcoming. My daughter so enjoyed the jacuzzi. This place is worth spending at least three days enjoying the countryside surroundings and taking trips to Hull and York. The garden with the fabulous pool and jacuzzi is a great place to soak up some sun or sit and have a cup of tea. I will ensure this is where we will stop again when we return to Scotland for the summer.

Naila was a great host, they accommodated to our needs of an early check in. House was clean and well presented. Beds were really comfy. Only downside was the stairs are quite steep to the bedrooms and the area was quite loud. Communication before and during our stay was brilliant and would stay again.

Be sure to verify access code and street address via the easy to use messaging system in advance. John was quick to respond and the place is what it advertises to be.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was great, and the area was quiet and peaceful. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly throughout. It really felt like a home away from home. Great house in a quiet residential area in a small village . Pub and small shop in walking distance . An amazing, secure back garden with a covered seating area which had a bbq & pizza oven and there is also a soundproof bar . Would be a great venue for a celebration, party or get together with friends. Nice kitchen/dining room with a large range cooker & big table with seating for 8 if it’s too chilly to eat outside ! Roller shutter garage door adds an extra layer of security for the house & garden , ideal if you have young children or a dog . We had a great stay, loved our welcome message & bottle and the milk, tea, coffee etc. was an appreciated . We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you !

Charlie is one of the best host I have ever encountered. She was helpful and provided all that I asked for. would encourage others to stay at her place.

The apartment was lovely, can not fault it at all. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Also left plenty of snacks and goodies at the apartment. Would 100% recommend staying here. Wouldn’t think twice about booking again. Was a wonderful stay 👍🏼

Lovely spot a short walk across the Stray from Harrogate. Accommodating host. Parking in front of the buildings available every time we needed. Lovely neighbor who helped with suggestions on music enjoyment, insurance policies and waste processing. Highly Recommended.
