The location worked out great - near my brother's house and near the downtown Marietta location where extended family and friends gathered. It's not new, but certainly met our needs. Nice hot water in the showers!

We had a wonderful time! There was plenty of space for my family of five to spread out and relax. Jessi was super accommodating and helpful! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This place is a very charming country farmhouse. I wish I had longer to stay because it was so pretty. So many little touches that really make a difference. I would love to rent this place again for sure and stay for a couple of days instead of just overnight. I love the little creek and the fairy lights and the couch on the porch.

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Parkview House! The house itself feels so grand and deserving of appreciation for the architecture of the past. We were more than comfortable and also really enjoyed the walkability to restaurants and shops. It was a perfect spot for a small-town adventure!

Ashtok was a great host and the accommodations were great for the price. It was nice to have an attached garage for parking. I will stay again when I need a place walkable to downtown and the OU campus!

Stayed here two years in a row for OU mom’s weekend! Perfect space for kids to hang in basement, while moms can sleep in bedrooms. Outdoor space looks so inviting, but it’s been too cold for us to enjoy it. If you’re looking for a place to host your daughter & her friends- this is it!! It’s not on campus, but that’s also what our girls wanted- to get away! Just a short drive to campus (15 min) though if needed!

We loved our extended stay in Marietta and Nancy's place really fit our needs! The property is on beautiful river location, close to town with shopping and restaurants in walking distance. The property was clean, well maintained and nice touches of amenities, just like home. We definitely will be staying here again on our next visit to Marietta!

Kelsey and Brian were excellent hosts. We had this place for 10 days and did not feel like our privacy was compromised. Very clean and tidy place and everything was labelled, they are very quick with their responses and the place for quite comfortable for my dad and brother. There is plenty of space to walk around and explore. Very good value for the price range would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed staying at the Water’s Edge. It was a perfect, peaceful resting spot during a busy OU graduation weekend. Deni’s place is really close to town, but it’s so peaceful that you’d think you were an hour away. Everything at the house is exactly as described and Deni was responsive and very helpful with directions. I really loved sitting on the porch stargazing, while listening to the peaceful sounds of the night - crickets, owls and the occasional bullfrog. It was simply delightful. We look forward to rebooking with Deni on our next trip to Athens!

Syd was so considerate as to meet us with an umbrella because it was raining when we arrived! She is truly a delight and a great host. Her space is homey and welcoming. We would love to stay again :)

The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

This was probably my favorite Airbnb I've ever been to. A very comfortable and beautiful house with a fantastic host! Bob was the best, he even stopped by to say hi to us. We felt right at home, we could have lived there honestly. The town of Point Pleasent was a pleasant surprise, pun intended. We came for Mothman fun but the town has much more to offer, we loved it, we loved Bob and we loved West Virginia. Recommendation: go to The Calming Goat for coffee and breakfast/lunch.

Absolutely wonderful getaway, quiet and peaceful but not so far from a variety of entertainment options. Great place!

Phenomenal place!! We’ve stayed at Angie’s Airbnbs in the past and once again, had the best time! She is flexible, friendly, and responsive. The place is adorable and clean. 10/10!! We will be back!

What a beautiful place! The one bedroom was so spacious and we really enjoyed the deck. The bed comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Great location: walk to dinner at the BBQ place just up the road or walk/drive into town. Wonderful to relax or enjoy the local neighborhood. Would be back!

Great view of the river!

I rally enjoyed my time at this Airbnb, it was very comfortable. It was great being right on the river and being able to watch all the boats come through. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Ashley's place was perfect for celebrating our son's graduation from OU. We were a group of five adults who slept comfortably and enjoyed the kitchen and living room space. We also appreciated the two parking spaces out back. Another bonus was its location! We walked into town and campus several times. We even avoided the traffic and walked to the commencement ceremony. Highly recommend!
