What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

What a stunning location. The climb down (but more importantly, the climb up!) is worth it. Loved being so close to the sea with such a wonderful view. the cabin is very comfortable and warm with an impressively well-stocked kitchen: plenty of crockery and cutlery; there is even a waffle maker! Be warned that the closest beach is a steep climb down (and back up - 180 steps plus a long steep slope) so be prepared for that. We were certainly fitter by the end of the week. We didn’t venture off too much - I preferred to sit outside and appreciated having 3 different seating areas to choose from. We used the hot tub nearly every night, with some wonderful sunsets and clear starry nights. The Halfway House at Polbathic served a great Sunday lunch (don’t confuse it with the one at Kingsand like we did - happens all the time apparently!) and Room Smiths and Player Ready in Plymouth kept our boys entertained when the rain was lashing down (we took the ferry over from Torpoint).

Stayed for my 40th birthday followed directions and used what 3 words worked great no issues finding it. I would recommend bring some food with you as shops are quite far away. The pub wasn't open when we were there and the closest spar had limited choice of food but everything in kitchen worked great. Had a very relaxing stay enjoyed hot tub and sauna. A few places on the local recommendations have now closed but otherwise would def recommend to friends. Cooper loved running around in wildflowers, stream and looking out the huge windows at birds and squirrels. Loved it 🥰

We loved our stay at the old chicken house!! The house itself is beautiful and even better than the pictures, it’s so peaceful and we felt at home right away! George and the other co hosts had very kindly put up a birthday banner as we were staying to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and provided some lovely breakfast bits which added to the welcoming feel of the house! We stayed with our Labrador -Maggie and there were lots of great walks nearby, she particularly enjoyed the woodland walk by Otterhead lakes! The perfect relaxing escape! We didn’t want to leave!!

Second time around for us! Loved it just as much as the first time! Hot tub was bliss… as were the lovely muffins left for us 👌🏼 Thankyou Sally for another wonderful stay!

From even before our stay we felt welcome and looked after. Everything was thought of and nothing too much trouble. Absolutely incredible host, incredible stay and we will be back! Thank you again for everything 🥰

WOW! What a fabulous bungalow and location. 4 of us and a dog stayed for a few days in April. The location is stunning, just minutes’ walk from Seaton Hole beach and the fabulous Jurassic Bites café and a short, spectacular wander from the beautiful town of Beer. The bungalow itself has everything you could wish for, including a walled/fenced garden that kept my dog happy and provided us with incredible sea views and garden seating. Louise is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The fresh scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing your bungalow.

We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place for a New Years reunion for 5 lifelong friends. We're of an age where warmth and convenience are our goals, and this large, well-appointed and unusual log cabin gave us all these. In the summer, NOATAC would be ideal for those who want the great outdoors, perhaps a younger generation than us, as there is a large garden and decked area. But we still enjoyed a walk or two, even if it was mid-winter! Thanks, Matthew, for a most enjoyable stay.

Logement parfait ! D’abord sa situation : Très bien situé ; proche de bons pubs , départ de nombreux sentiers de randonnée et de lieux à visiter . Ensuite , ce lieu est extraordinaire ! Au calme avec une vue à couper le souffle. La décoration est parfaite , un vrai cocon , on s’y sent très bien. Cet endroit est très apaisant . La cheminée accentue cet apaisement. Je terminerai mon commentaire par l’accueil de notre hôte , très gentille , très réactive . Nous avons pu aller cueillir des légumes de la ferme et acheter de la viande de la ferme durant notre séjour . Ce logement vaut son statut de « perle rare ».

what a lovely stay! Great communication throughout from Amy, making us feel very welcome. Hunters Barn was exactly as we thought it would be, in a lovely setting with friendly animals. And beautiful inside. Wish we could have stayed longer. Amy's little touches were a lovely surprise too, and the box of toys left out for our son to play with was another added bonus and very appreciated. Pleasure staying here.

What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Old Tea Hut. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, with the most amazing views. A special place to stay regardless of the season, we were treated to mostly sunny weather (the sunset was incredible across the bay!) but even on a rainy day it was great to look out and enjoy the property. Lots to do in the local area - we enjoyed a good dinner at the Finnygook Inn, golf at Whitsand Bay Golf Club, and lunch at the Cliff Top Cafe.

Great host, cabin was perfect! Garden was bigger than expected and our anxious dog loved it! Private parking and self check in really was a perfect get away. Lots of lovely places to visit in the surrounding area and locals are friendly. Cabin has everything you need and host even left cookies and a welcoming postcard. We can’t wait to book again!!

I had a wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb! The space was cozy, spotlessly clean, and had a lovely modern barn feel while still keeping a quaint, welcoming atmosphere. It was incredibly peaceful — perfect for a relaxing getaway. I especially loved the private garden, which was such a quiet and beautiful spot to unwind. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful, making the whole experience even better. I would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat!

Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. Tom’s place is a clean, warm and snug cabin - we stayed in cold weather and there was a big rain storm overnight. It was lovely to feel so well insulated from the weather! Generous amount of firewood provided. Everything was of good quality - furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment - and worked well. As an organic farmer, Tom provides a stash of herbal teas, and the soaps, shower gels and washing up liquids are all suitable brands for vegans (Faith in Nature, Ecover) - very much appreciated! Lovely setting, at night there was nothing to hear but tawny owls. In daylight a beautiful south facing view over fields and hills and bullfinches foraging outside the window. This would also be a wonderful summer stay with garden furniture to enjoy. Tom was a friendly host and responded quickly to messages, giving assurances we could contact him about anything. Neighbours and local people unvaryingly friendly and kind. Excellent local shops in Buckfastleigh with fresh local produce.

Second time staying in the cosy cabin and couldn't have had a better experience. Wonderfully presented, spotless and cosy as described. Already trying to figure out dates to return. Would highly recommend to anyone! 🙂

We had a lovely,pleasant and relaxing stay at the cabin, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed,and we had a lovely helpful host. The cabin is in an ideal location close to Bude, and other nice places.

What a gem of a place to stay. Beautiful scenery, friendly hosts, spotlessly clean and unbelievably cosy. Will be telling all my friends about this place and hope to be back next year.

Last minute get away for myself, my son and our dog. The cabin was very easy to find if you follow the sat nav. When we arrived my son thought it was great that we used the wheelbarrow to move our belongings to the cabin. The accomodation was exactly as described cosy, clean and warm. There is an all in one cooker, easy to use for small meals but there is also a portable outdoor BBQ to use. The shower room was modern, clean and plenty big enough. It was a nice touch that we was left some cookies and little dog biscuits. The surroundings are beautiful, with a nice bit of greenery in the middle of the cabins, it would be a lovely family area to play outdoor games on. There is a picnic table on decking outside. We sat outside and looked at all the stars (definitely seen Orions Belt). We walked to Hartland Lighthouse and walked the coastal path, then we went to GCHQ Bude and Davidstow war museum. Renata and Tom was fantastic friendly hosts, very person centered and responsive.
