We had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The pretty garden with the old cottage created a peaceful and rustic atmosphere, the food was delicious and homely. They served breakfast in the garden surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.The rooms were clean and cozy. The hosts were incredibly warm and thoughtful — they gave good local recommendations and also made sure we never got lost while exploring. The location was easily accessible and the cafes were at a walking distance. If you want to take a break from your hectic life and spend a few lazy days in a mountain town it's the place for you.

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!

We had a wonderful stay at Sonam's place in Gangtok! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and suggest places to visit around the city. The caretaker, Nima, was outstanding—always available and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was delicious, homely, and very affordable—just what we needed after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga right from the property—absolutely mesmerizing! Highly recommend this place for groups of friends, families, or couples looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in Gangtok. 😊

Had a good stay at Anjalina’s place. Cozy room with a door to the balcony. Mattress, pillow, and quilt were comfy and pillow cover/ sheets were clean. There was a kitchenette which was nice to prepare morning coffee and tea whenever you wanted to. Road leading to the property is nice and two wheeler parking was a blessing. Communication with Anjalina was cool and she also recommended local food places. Will definitely visit again and will recommend to friends and fam. Thanks!

This property is an oasis of calm and luxury while being easily accessible. Mr Tsewang and Mrs Michele are avuncular, amiable and treated me like a family member. This charming couple is easily one of the best hosts. With their stories and anecdotes compiled from a wealth of experience living in different parts of the world, daily breakfast with them was a highlight of my trip. It was a privilege to be able to share some parts of their lives via insightful conversations and I will treasure these memories. Mr Tenzing is hospitable to a fault and served up excellent food daily. The house has minute touches that elevates your stay with the kind of views guaranteed to leave you awestruck. Everything is squeaky clean and you are provided with all the sundries while being next to a well appointed grocery store. Tashi is an excellent host, and his father is incredibly kind and welcoming. He assisted us with check-in and made us feel right at home. The property features two bedrooms, a spacious living area, and a kitchen. The main bedroom offers a stunning view of the valley. Conveniently located near Tashi View Point and the local taxi stand, the house is just a 15-minute drive from MG Marg. Cabs are easily available right outside at reasonable rates. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re especially grateful to Tashi’s father for his warm hospitality.

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.

The accomodation provided a delightful private stay. The place has nice views and we felt right at home. Kitchen has all the essential items, rooms were nice and clean and the decor was minimal which was perfect! The caretaker Dipan was very generous and took care of our every need. Abhinandan our host was out of town during our stay due to some official purpose but he always kept in touch with us during our entire stay and guided us through everything. We faced some issues with wifi but it was resolved soon. The property is little bit far from the main Kalimpong market but there are nearby grocery stores from where you can get all the essentials. I would highly recommend this place and would like to come back again. Great place for a calm and refreshing stay.

It was lovely, I booked it for a family short vacation. Well equipped, spacious, clutter free, and clean. It is the best for family or big groups. Location is safe and reachable for services like zomato etc. Host is friendly and responsive, I got all the details proactively. Overall Positive from all POVs.

Great place! The homestay is erally great. Everythings works nice and the house is like you see in the pictures. My favorite part was the balcony that had an amazing view. Devdarshan and his family were really nice and were always checking in if things were okay. The kitchen is simple and could be more equipped, but I was able to cook nice things and, as I said It, it matches the photos and the description. It's a simple and nice place, close to the main road. If you looking for a nice, simple and calm place to stay in Gangtok, Bartola homestay is your place.

We had the most perfect BNB experience. Place was spotless with a great view. The house was excellently designed and furnished. The location is great too - just a short walk to MG mart and nice restaurants. Swiggy delivery was also available. Overall, a highly recommended stay in gangtok

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

I really love staying in coozy nook. As it’s best for 2 people and it’s cozy, comfortable and clean. Samriddhi is very helpful and can sort out 99 problems starting from taxi, recommendations, call check ups everything necessary. So yes it’s totally worth the price. And special notable thing at her property is you will feel like home with the best landscaping view of entire city. Wish her all the best.
