Georgie was a wonderful host, and very kind and responsive when we got lost trying to find the space. It was cozy, and her garden was lovely. It got a little chilly outside the room since the only heat was a portable radiator, but other than that, it was a great getaway for our time in Scotland. Thanks Georgie for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay with Graham at Ashcroft Bed & Breakfast. He checked in with us often to make sure everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious (and served early for us, and with a few changes for my picky eater husband). Graham had great tips for hiking, beaches to visit, and local places to eat. The beds were comfortable, water was hot, and we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Tatu’s annex for a few days and had a lovely experience. Although the host lives just next door, we barely noticed and had complete privacy throughout our stay. Tatu was incredibly helpful and friendly from the start—he personally talked us through the check-in process, showed us how to unfold the sofa bed, and even recommended which bus to take into the city. The annex itself is cosy, clean, and quiet—perfect for a relaxing break. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essential utensils and appliances, making it easy to prepare simple meals. The shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature, which was a real plus. Getting to the city by bus was quick and straightforward. Tatu even helped us by giving clear instructions to back out our car—much appreciated! Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-kept spot with a thoughtful host.

Lovely and clean place to stay in a beautiful setting and with wonderful hosts. There was space for four of us - two adults and two kids (10 and 13). All of the beds were very comfortable and we left feeling rested and recharged.

Heather was a super host. We had a warm, friendly welcome. Every was well explained and made a great recommendation for our evening meal. The accommodation was warm, comfortable, clean and well equipped. It more than suited our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at Howee Inn. It’s small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for one night. Pamela was really friendly and provided clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were left bread, milk, eggs and butter which was a lovely touch that we enjoyed for breakfast. The local area is lovely too, and we would recommend the local pub for dinner.

Place was clean and tidy and we slept well in a very comfortable bed! Great location for us to be up early to catch the ferry to Rathlin Island. Appreciated the snacks being left for us!

Really lovely, comfy spacious accommodation in a very quiet & peaceful street, yet within easy reach of lots of good cafes & restaurants plus good transport links nearby for exploring the city. I loved the architecture & styling of the property, with the cozy lounge area & views over the garden from the bedroom. The hosts have put a lot of thought into providing everything you might need for a home away from home including a great welcome pack and information about the area plus a great range of books, magazines & DVDs. Communication both before & during my visit was very good, clear & responsive.

What a gem of a find. Anu is a very kind and generous host. Our stay was improved with her recommendations for dinner and being able to have a quiet visit with her to learn more about the history of the house. The accommodations were as noted in the description and it was so easy to get to all the things we really wanted to see. Were we to return to Glasgow, we would return here. The location of the Wee Bothy is everything! It is convenient to the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, and downtown Stirling. There is an adorable park a short walk away that is fun for both kids and adults alike! It’s also full of bunnies! The Wee Bothy is adorable and comfortable. The outside seating area is so peaceful with the beautiful sound of birds. I enjoyed relaxing outside. There is also a small market (Spar) a short walk away. I would definitely return if I am lucky enough to be in the area again! Super cute place!! Andrea and MacGregor are fantastic hosts. :-)

our favourite airbnb for this trip. Everything was perfect. We found some good trails for hiking and also enjoyed relaxing at Cedar Chalet. Sarah and David are great hosts and we wish we could have stayed longer. loved meeting the furbabies before we left.

Lovely little place which has been very well thought through. Spotlessly clean, everything required for a couple to have a comfortable stay. Dawn left some welcome items which were much appreciated and useful. I particularly appreciated the robe and shower cap - I never bring mine as too bulky - but really useful. Lots of hangers and hooks, USB charging points also, lovely hot water in large shower and high quality toiletries. Coffee machine a great bonus. We didn't use the patio outside as busy out most of the day but this is a great spot to appreciate the lovely garden, and the cherry trees were in full bloom for us. Great location close to town centre (although Penrith is a small place) as well as on the way to the Penrith Beacon hill walk - well worth doing for fabulous views. Penrith is great location with good transport links, very friendly and easy to navigate. Dawn was friendly and charming. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

What a delightful place! Squeaky clean, very well appointed modern kitchen and bathroom, packed with everything you could need, including toiletries in the bathroom (bath and shower) - and milk, bread, orange juice, cereals, etc in the kitchen. There’s even an air fryer. AND oh joy! A small bottle of fizz, and tasty little cupcakes! Thank you Marj for a lovely, comfortable home from home - and for greeting me so warmly.

Loved staying at the Annex. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Michelle was lovely and made us feel welcome. Would absolutely recommend staying here and would stay again if we came back to Belfast one day!

We had the best time during our stay in the stunning apartment! The rooms are flooded with light, the space is very clean and exceptionally neat, and everything we could have asked for was there. We were even granted an early check in, which allowed us to use our first vacation day fully - this was very much appreciated. We also had the chance to get to know Lindsay and Roberto - what a delightful pleasure! They are the most fantastic hosts :) We were invited over for a glas of wine during our stay and had the best time. They are so interesting, kind and just overall great people. Next time we’re in Edinburgh we’re definitely staying with Lindsay and Robert again (or if the apartment is already booked, at least meeting them for a coffee) 😊

We loved staying at Agnes’s place, so comfortable and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the little lounge /dining room was very cosy. The kitchen is well-equipped and we appreciated the yard full of spring flowers, where we could sit out in the sun to have lunch. We were very lucky with the weather during our visit and the house is really well-situated for exploring along the Kintyre way, the island of Gigha (beautiful) and other peninsulas and islands nearby. Fresh flowers, real coffee, biscuits, olive oil, herbs and spices were much appreciated. I hope we’ll be back and highly recommend this lovely little place, which was also really good value. Quiet, lots of space and amazing views all around! Host is very helpful and will go out of their way to help with nothing you need. Kitchen fully loaded for a full days worth of cooking with kids etc! (You may need to bring small cutlery for the very little ones) Also a quiet but large Tesco Extra down the road, so not too far for everything you will need. Stop in Moffat for a great breakfast or drinks and head up to st Mary’s loch with the kids and if you have enough energy go and walk up towards grey Mare’s Waterfall

We are just back from a two night stay and can highly recommend the apartment!!! It's in an amazing location with views to die for. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and the Welcome Pack was a lovely/thoughtful touch. If/when we had any questions the host was always very friendly and responsive. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely be staying here!!! Thanks for an amazing stay Susan...

Had an absolute amazing stay at The Birches. Ailsa is such a perfect host. Nothing is too much for her. She goes above and beyond to make your stay the best 😊 The cleanliness, freshness and comfort of The Birches had the wow factor. My granddaughter enjoyed the Hot Tub and the beautiful home-made lemon cake Ailsa brought us fresh from the oven, her mum and I enjoyed the bottle of Prosecco. Fresh roses 🌹 dotted around the rooms was a beautiful touch. Well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, beds so comfortable. I could go on and on, but just check this place out and you will definitely not be disappointed 😊 Thank you Ailsa for everything We will be back. 🥰
