We have stayed at The Bay before. This lodge is finished to a really high standard and extremely well presented. We were really pleased with its size, layout and it is well positioned in The Bay. Close enough to everything and well placed for privacy and to enjoy a peaceful break. Andrea was a fantastic host and very responsive with any enquiries, we will definitely consider returning.

We stayed in a caravan at Primrose Valley for my son’s football tournament and had a fantastic time. It’s a great spot for families – the site is really well maintained with loads of activities to keep everyone entertained. The sea views were absolutely beautiful, and the beach was just a short walk away. Plenty to do for kids and adults alike – we’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay at Chris’ bungalow - it’s homely and well kitted out, and very peaceful despite being a short walk into central Filey. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and summerhouse, and it was perfect being such a short walk to the beach and train station - ideal for a car free break. There are even children’s books, toys and buckets and spades so it’s great for families needing to travel light. Chris was friendly and responsive. We hope to visit again some time.

Beachview is a great find. The bungalow is perched on the cliff with great views out of the living room window and a grassed sitting area on two sides. Spacious lounge / open plan kitchen with a comfortable sofa. Adequate bathroom with over bath shower. Bed and bed linen very good. Very quiet location a few minutes from the centre of Hornsea. We were blessed with fabulous weather and loved just relaxing at Beachview bungalow.

Just returned from a brilliant weekend. 'The happy plaice' , the name of the accommodation says it all. It has been perfect! Thank you and i hope to return very soon!

Spacious house with a big garden and we had everything we needed. We had a lovely stay at the property and would stay again.

A group of us stayed to celebrate our 40th birthdays. We just wanted somewhere that could offer us some peace and quiet for a few days away from our hectic daily lives and this was perfect. Set in a very tranquil spot, Lilypad lodge had everything we were looking for and we all throughly enjoyed our stay. A real home away from home, spotlessly clean and all the necessary amenities needed. We would definitely love to return.

Perfect location for all amenities and popular sites you would want to visit in Whitby. Although very central it is also very quiet and you have the added bonus of a free parking space right outside the accommodation. A paramount extra as parking in Whitby can be a nightmare. Very spacious property, spotlessly clean and all appliances functioned as they should do. We would definitely stay at John's again when we visit Whitby. A brilliant bank holiday was had. We had the best time at Teal cottage with 6 friends. The walk into holmfirth is only ten minutes, and there’s loads of coffee shops, a few nice restaurants and pubs, as well as charity shops, walks and runs nearby. We spent a day at the yorkshire sculpture park which was fun too. But mostly we just enjoyed spending time in the house! Cooking facilities, hot tub, TV and games were perfect and we had a fab, very relaxing post exams celebration. If anything it was better than the photos! Like people say in other reviews, the deposit was initially off putting but when Angela explained I felt comfortable with it. The drive is steep but work on your clutch control and you’ll be fine!! Overall absolutely spot on for 6 people for a few days away, with room for extras if we come back in future! Thank you

We had a wonderful peaceful stay. Would recommend if you like peace and quiet or walking. Judith is an excellent host. The place of stay is lovely and clean and homely. Excellent complimentary breakfast, plus tea /coffee /milk etc. Judith is very helpful and will accommodate you as much as she possibly can... Felt very much at home.. Will definitely return. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Huis was schoon & opgeruimd, lijkt wel op de leefruimte waar normaliter een gezin woont. Slaapkamer op de foto’s is fijn, goed bed. Badkamer ook schoon, prima douche. De tweede slaapkamer ontbreekt echter van de foto’s, dit is ook de slaapkamer van de kinderen en in dit bed passen helaas niet 2 (volwassen) personen waardoor wij niet met zijn allen in de woning paste. Communicatie met Michal was fijn, reageert snel en een heel vriendelijk kaartje bij binnenkomst, mooie geste. Al met al een prima verblijf gehad, kerst kunnen vieren met de familie die in Scunthorpe woont. Dank voor de gastvrijheid Michal.
