Easter Weekend Getaway Review We had a wonderful stay during the Easter weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with delicious drinks and snacks, setting the tone for our trip. The accommodation was beautiful and impeccably clean, making it a perfect retreat. Andrew, our host, was exceptional. He provided clear instructions and directions, and even checked in on us to ensure we arrived safely. His caring nature truly made us feel at home. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we are already looking forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

The place was quiet spacious and very nice with a beautiful view of the city. The host was very friendly . The location is next to a lot of trendy restaurants which are a walkable distance from the place.

Beate home is truly a "home away from home". Each day I went into Durban, I looked forward to getting home. The home is tastefully designed. She just bought a new wooden table for 6. All the wood in the house matches the lush garden that you're surrounded by. :-) Anything you can possible need is in the home. Beate is also lovely enough to get whatever you may need. Walking distance to anything you need. I really enjoy this home!

Absolutely lovely flat. The linens, made by Camille’s company it turns out, were some of the nicest I’ve ever slept on — and I’ve spent a great deal of time in luxury hotels for work. ( If you’re local check out That’s Linen ). If, like me, you’re booking because it’s walking distance to stuff, be prepared for a workout on the way home. But hey, great views don’t come without steep climbs.

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

Melissa was simply theeee best!!! We at no point felt neglected, the checking in was the smoothest I’ve ever had, driving to the place, she kept checking on us, we arrived late but she stayed up until late just so she can be able to assist us check-in. The place is amazing, more beautiful in person that it even is on the pictures, the view is breathtaking!!! With the sea breeze, we walked to the beach, for less than 3 minutes, that’s how close it is to the house. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Melissa’s, apart from the above mentioned, Melissa has humanity and we found that gold about her! She’s not just making money from here guests but she’s considerate of them and makes sure they’re happy and convenienced.

The place is very nice quite,safe everything is on walking distance. Naomi and Amanda are stunning 😍 they know how to handle thie visitors I never enjoy staying in a place line Naomi place. Im going to book the same place on my next visit to Durban my family like 👍 it more they don't stop taking about Naomi place. Who ever plaining to visit Durban please book at the Lost you will thank me What you see on the photo 📸 you will find exactly 💯

What a beautiful spot! From the moment you arrive you feel as though you can exhale. Stunning place, beautiful furniture linen and every amenity. Special touches like great coffee, milk in the fridge and just all round welcoming space. Oh but the views of the ocean!! Wow! Literally a few steps away with direct beach access and access to the promenade with its host of beautiful restaurants and close proximity to shopping etc. You can’t get better value for money in such a beautiful space and location than this spot in Umhlanga! Oh and the host was the cherry on top. Warm, helpful, responsive. I will be booking again! That’s for sure. 🔥🔥🔥

Paola was an absolutely amazing host. She provided us with clear instructions up front and was extremely communicative. She assisted us with all of our inquiries and she made us feel right at home. This stunning property truly feels like a home away from home! The scenic views are absolutely breathtaking, and the host is incredibly responsive and always eager to assist whenever needed. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean was nothing short of heavenly.
