Maybe the best restaurant in San Francisco. Pricey, but worth it for foodies. The food is traditional French / Californian, no surprises in any dish, but extremely well executed. Save room for the cheese cart after the meal.

Nothing has changed here since the 70s. Excellent seafood. No reservations, but they give you unlimited white wine while you wait. Portion run large, and they don't mind if you share dishes.
