Permanent David Hockney exhibition. Lovely bookshop, great diner for lunch. Various shops including high end home furnishings, outdoor wear and equipment and jewellery. Interesting local history exhibition too. Great spot for chilling out. Opening times are a little sporadic, so please check their website.

If you're visiting Skipton this is a great place for coffee, cake, brunch and lunch. Just off the main high street its a popular haunt for many locals. Food is delicious and brilliantly presented.

Located in Ilkley. We love this place. Run by a young Romanian couple. Food is amazing and service is always excellent. They make a delicious traditional Romanian layered cake which has to be tried! Daniel's is not far from Booths supermarket which is the 'Waitrose of the North' but far better! Park in their carpark, visit Daniel's and then go back to Booths and stock up with lots of lovely local produce.

We love this coffee shop... in fact we go to it most days, even if it is a good 20 mins drive away on Town Street in Horsforth! Really friendly staff, amazing cakes (the Cruffins, Raspberry Frangipan, Rocky Road and Cinnamon rolls are highly recommended), serve Northstar Coffee (roasted in Leeds), great range of filled bagels and local pies and sausage rolls. Always busy so even if you can't get a table, takeout is just as good!
