In my opinion the best pizza around, and it's nearby - at the bottom of my hill. Order to go as the place is small. Many people also like Picco's in Larkspur but it's always crowded and usually a long wait.

One of my favorite Italian neighborhood restaurants. Approx. 30 minute walk from the house. Love the mussels and the eggplant parmigiana - but everything is great.

I recommend driving to the top (East Peak) and checking out the nearly 360' view! Take the short hiking trail from the parking lot to see the spectacular view. Then drive down the other side to reach Stinson Beach if you want to have some beach time. See the maps and guides at my house.

If you want to see the Redwood trees, Muir woods is close by. Go online to get a parking permit. Best to go during the week and go on the early side. If you must go on the weekend you need to go early, its very crowded.

I confess - I shop here a lot! If you don't know Whole Foods, it has a wonderful selection of organic food and, fresh produce, meats and a good deli. Take the short cut to Whole Foods by continuing up Chapman to the top of the hill and turning left onto Corte Madera Ave, go down the hill and turn left at the light, then left again at the next light.
