So you can walk here. It’s an uphill walk and takes a couple of hours realistically but other than the very last bit which is walking along the main road, it’s very scenic. Good food, it’s a Vintage Inn pub so standard decent pub food and it’s got a really nice atmosphere

55 mins drive but it’s such a historic and beautiful place. And a great circular walk. If you do go that far be sure to consider either Billy Bobs American diner which is perfect for families or The Devonshire Arms which is high quality beautiful food (but pricey but amazing)

Stunning views and walks. Lots of circular routes around here about 45 mins drive. If you are out for the full day I recommend a wander around I’ll let and/or a trip to Ilkley lido where there are lots of grassy areas to sit when you’re not swimming

We love this place, it’s an amazing walk in the Peak District. It is an hours drive away but it has some plunge pools along the way for the brave and you can just keep going as far as you want. Definitely recommend for a good walk

A beach? In West Yorkshire? Yep. It’s up a very steep path so isn’t for the faint hearted but it’s stunning once you get there. There are no facilities so you need to bring food. Can be hard to find the path up so google it before you set off

Great walk. Steep uphill climb but worth it to get to the top and gentler walk back down (depending which way you go of course) There is a pub close by for a lovely lunch afterwards

You can get a direct train to London which gets you there in under 3 hours. The return takes under 2 hours. Prices go up so better to book early to get the cheap tickets. Free parking is available around Mirfield station
