This is part of our "Green Belt" that separates the East Bay from inland California. It is a patchwork of nature reservers, parklands, a mini train for kids, two botanical gardens, a model farm, swiming at Lake Anza, an old fashioned carosoulle, nature walks, visits such as Inspiration Point and even a water resevoir. Great place for a drive and a mild hike.
