Their gourmet sandwiches are my favorite, especially if you like pickled vegetables. There is also always a great vegetarian selection.

Pricey but worth the day trip to see some of the North Bay. Stop by Pt. Reyes Station and the lighthouse if you have time.

Alvarado Park connects to Wildcat Canyon and Tilden Park. A mile of uphill hiking will get you panoramic views of the entire Bay Area.

This is the best (possibly most tiring) way to get to Coit Tower. The steps take you through backyards and after a lot of vertical climbing you arrive at the top with panoramic views of the City. If you’re lucky you will spot some of the parrots that have made the steps their home.
